Kavitha KulkarniKavitha Kulkarni is Head- Scientific Affairs and Education, Food Safety Division, 3M India Ltd, where she provides leadership to local teams to engage in strategic local regulatory activities to help drive recognition and acceptance of methods. She actively partners with government and non-government organizations to participate in development of ideas, technologies and processes to address food safety challenges and requirements within the food industry. She works closely with the Global team for new product development which help in ensuring Food Safety management.

She is actively involved in conducting trainings on GMP, GHP, FSMS, ISO 17025 & FSSC 22000 to the industry Food Safety Officers, Microbiologists & Quality team. Her engagement within the Food industry has helped the leading industries reduce risks and improve Food safety.

Before 3M, she has worked for 15 years in the Drug-Controller Approved & ISO 17025 certified laboratory, where she was heading the Microbiology department the Microbiology testing, Audit process, Compliance to the Standard procedures, Implementation and documentation.

She is a Post- Graduate in Microbiology and has over 20 years of diverse experience in Scientific & Technical service in Microbiology and Food Safety. She also holds FSSC 2000 a Lead Assessor certification.
