FSSAI conducts Food Analyst Examination and Junior Analyst Examination with the following objectives:

  1. To increase the pool of qualified Food Analysts through both the examinations.
  2. To augment human resource requirement of the primary/referral laboratories notified by FSSAI through Junior Analyst Examination.

Detailed information on age, essential educational qualification(s) and experience, examination fees, syllabus, examination schedule, etc. are available on the FSSAI website: https://fssai.gov.in/home/food-testing/Food-Analyst-Exam.html

AOAC-India Section, being a technical partner of FSSAI, has taken this endeavor to facilitate effective preparation of the Indian analytical community for this important examination. More than 60 topics covering the entire syllabus of the Food Analyst Examination will be comprehensively delivered through a series of online lectures by renowned scientists and academicians. Each lecture will be delivered live, and the participants will get an opportunity to raise their queries and concerns online for immediate resolution.

Participation in these webinars is absolutely free. The participants, however, will be required to register to receive online access to these seminars.

We urge all the participants to consider taking membership of AOAC-India Section and AOAC INTERNATIONAL so that we can organize more of such programs in future.
