Date & Venue:
Monday, September 26th, 2016

PerkinElmer India, G-Corp, 8th Floor, Ghodbunder Road,

Kasaravadavli, Thane – 400615 India

Regulatory Background:

India is one of the largest exporters in the world for many of food and its derivatives. With increasing instances of Food adulteration and high utilization of non-permissible additives, the food regulators across the globe are revising food safety guideline to the best interest of consumers and giving analytical testing to a paradigm shift. This calls for more sophisticated and sensitive analytical techniques to be implemented in Food testing workflow.

This workshop gives a common platform to Food Scientists, analyst, and expert together and brainstorms to achieve following objectives:

  • Update of FSSAI guidelines for heavy metals detection limits and to achieve and evolving inorganic analytical techniques.
  • EU guidelines and monitoring of arsenic and arsenic species (EU 2015/1381)
  • Analysis of packaged food sample (From Preparation to Reporting)
  • Understanding of detection limits in various inorganic technologies.
  • Do’s and Don’ts while interacting with sophisticated inorganic instrument.
